     Configuration Management Analyst supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever AFB, CO.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    Configuration Management Analyst supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever AFB, CO. Develop Configuration Management (CM) organization-level documentation and ensure they are in accordance with IRES and Government CM plans, policies and procedures. Manage the processing, reviewing, categorizing and documenting of Change Requests (CRs). This includes working with stakeholders to ensure the clarity and meaning of CRs is clear prior to submittal. Manage CRs though all phases of their lifecycle. Perform baseline audits on hardware, software and architectural diagrams. Maintain baselines

    in a controlled environment. Develop CM documentation in support of exercise activities in preparation for Quality/Safety (QS) audits. Facilitate meetings (Configuration Control Boards, Engineering Coordination Meetings) that include both virtual and live meetings. Produce meeting agendas, minutes and record and track action items, including necessary follow-up and change request processing. Support organizational process improvement initiatives. Perform contract- related document reviews.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Basic Requirements: Candidate must have a HS diploma and 16 years of general experience, Associates degree and 14 years general experience, BA/BS degree and 12 years of experience, must include 6 years of related experience in Configuration Management or Systems Engineering Experience and 5 years in a leadership or management role.
      Knowledgeable in CM disciplines (identification, control, status accounting and audits). Knowledge with technical safety procedures within tests or exercises. Proficient organizational, analysis, and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task high priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. Proficient at working both independently and as a team member. Good communication skills both in writing and verbal. Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

    DESIRED:

    • CM tools experience (Remedy, Rational, Subversion). CM Certifications (CMPIC), Project Management Certification. Familiar with MDA QS policies and procedures.
